University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana
I recently completed my undergraduate degree in Art Education at the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana, earning my Visual Arts Professional Educator's License for K through 12. During my time at UIUC, I gained a strong foundation in inclusivity, diversity, and conceptual practice, all of which shape my approach to teaching. My coursework, field experiences, and community involvement have prepared me to support learners of all ages through meaningful, thoughtful, and student centered art education.
2020-2023
Parkland College
I spent the first half of my undergraduate degree at Parkland College in Champaign, IL. While there, I was an active participant in the Parkland Art Club and worked as a Gallery Monitor and Office Aid at the Giertz Gallery at Parkland College. At Parkland, I developed a deep connection with the art community and education provided to the Champaign-Urbana area.
